Hot launches, hot announcements, and some very hot people // June FFG Newsletter
Hi friends!
It’s June aka Pride month so this is the edition where we here at FFG (a bunch of queers) talk about our games and how immensely proud of them we are. You may ask, how is that different to every other monthly newsletter? Well… it isn’t, okay?! But we get to do a lot more of this:
🌈💅🏳️🌈👭🏳️⚧️👬🥹🌈💅🏳️🌈👭🏳️⚧️👬🥹🌈💅🏳️🌈👭🏳️⚧️👬🥹🌈
🏎️ Hot Wheels in Space?! ☄️
You may have noticed the exoplanetary rally game Exo Rally Championship (from the dev of indie hit Exo One) sneakily launched in PC Gaming Show at the beginning of this month, and we didn’t even spill the beans!
Exo Rally Championship is the galaxy’s most dangerous off-road racing event: remote, unexplored, extreme exoplanetary rally. Master a brutally realistic racing simulation and fight for every second gained on your quest to become a champion 🥇 Vroom vroom!
Future Friends Round Up
🌄 Sunset Summit is our newly announced game from 2 of the DEVOUR devs, brothers Joe and Andrew Fender! Play this co-op climbing game with 1-8 friends where you are all old people who eat a lot of beans and use pogo sticks and other climbing essentials. It was announced in the PC Gaming Show (huge!!!) where over 60k people saw FFG say nonsense in the trailer… Anyway! The demo is out now so you should probably gather your mates and get on it!
🏖️ On-Together devs dropped their Summer DLC earlier this month alongside a summery update to the main game! The DLC includes 3 new water-loving pets, new outfits, floaties so you can work from the water, a beachy playlist and more! They also had a lovely shoutout from Teen Vogue (!!!) in this article: Focus Gaming Apps That Help Combat ADHD-Like Behavior Challenge Us to Be Kinder to Ourselves. ADHD fam unite❤️
🐟 Tiny Aquarium are feeling nostalgic and bringing back some in-game events! Jump into THE MARINE LIFE CONSERVATION EVENT, where you can release endangered species to gain special currency, hatch special blue fish variants, and make your tank stand out with new decorations! Live now until July 1st. Keep your eyes peeled for even more on the way soon 👀
🕷️ A Webbing Journey have released their third level ‘The Living Room’ to the mobile version of the game! This includes 10 brand-new quests to complete and many more secrets to be uncovered. They also just celebrated reaching over 5 million downloads on mobile so yippee for portable digital spider friends! 🕸️
Team Lore
🫠 The whole team (along with the rest of Europe) endured the HORRIFIC heatwave. Whatever we said and/or did during those high temperatures is none of our or HR’s business. Anyway… We did lose our minds a bit so if everyone could stop asking ChatGPT for advice on how to get your dog to love you that would be great!
🐕 Speaking of the unmatched love of a dog, Laura has adopted the most beautiful lil baby from Ukraine! Her name is Wren and she is very small, very fast and very terrified of everything :) Have you ever wondered what the baby of a bicycle seat and a fruit bat would look like? Well this is it!
👋 We said goodbye to our very own and dear Future Friend Emma 💔 They do start a new adventure doing something SO exciting and secret for now!!! As they eloquently said, if the video game industry was a real life neighbourhood then they would “only be moving a few streets over and we’d still bump into each other at the coffee shop”. We can’t wait to for future coffee with our Forever Friend <3

🪴Speaking of Pottering, our very own FFG game, you should totally go wishlist it on Steam and check out the socials where we share our very serious non-piss related work. Development is clearly going well. Thoughts and prayers for our sweet dev Adam that has to put up with our silliness.
