Moustaches & Games, Feet & Pears, Business & Beans // March Future Friends Newsletter
and some personal future friends' fam achievements too!
Hey friends,
Another month down! Are you in the Northern Hemisphere like us and feeling revitalised with the longer days and return of Spring? Have you enjoyed the glimpse of sunshine from the comfort of your sofa while playing Pokopia like us?
This month seems like a quiet one and we promise it’s not because we were spending every waking moment building the perfect trashcan habitat for Trubbish. That would be preposterous. There were a lot of exciting FFG related things brewing this March but how much can we actually share right now? Let’s find out!
🫂 Getting by with a little help from our friends 📝
Virtual co-working game, On-Together, reached a huge milestone (50k copies sold! wow!) and launched their first MAJOR UPDATE this month! Yippee!
Players can now customise their avatar with an array of new facial hair and show off their sick new ‘staches in the newly renovated top secret cave area. There’s also a new mini-game while fishing! Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to catch a key, unlock a treasure chest and win some goodies! 🔑
The On-Together community has grown so much and it’s SO rewarding to see players share their work/study session successes. Every week, the On-Together developers are sharing their favourite server moments on socials so we can all celebrate the little things in life together! If you haven’t already, follow and join the community through these links!
Future Friends Roundup!
👀 You should watch out for this year’s The Triple-i Initiative showcase on April 9th! This upcoming show will feature a ton of very cool indie game news with 45 minutes of back-to-back trailers from cool studios. You may even see one of FFG’s familiar hellish slot machine roguelikes there…
🏔️ Laysara: Summit Kingdom launched into 1.0 last month and very quickly reached three huge milestones early this month. This vertical city-builder x strategy game has now surpassed 1k reviews, 1k players peak, and 100k sales! Yay Yaks!!!

✈️ The directors came back from GDC alive and well. They got up too many shenanigans to name but also they also seemed to do real business? What a concept.
🎮 Superstar Abi sat down with The PlayStation Access Podcast to share her experiences of cosplay! Check out the episode, ‘Chatting All Things Cosplay with Opal Ink Cosplay’, to learn more about costume construction, attending conventions and judging competitions.
📖 Writing aficionado Grace aka our Sunday Times Best Selling author has so many book news! Grace’s slow-burn romance inspired by the fall of Rome, Idolfire, is now available in paperback! But that’s not all! Grace also has a new book (she can’t be stopped) coming out soon! Unbury the past in Heaven’s Graveyard, an upcoming whip-smart LESBIAN fantasy mystery available to pre-order now! DO IT!!!
🍐 Hold onto your canned pears, Louisa hosted another beloved and celebrated ‘Feets and Pears’ event this month! I know what you are thinking, there really is nothing better than feet and pears after a long day! It’s such an exclusive event. We can only hope to one day get an invite ourselves…
⭐ Abi also had her first ever big hosting job for Dreamhack in Birmingham and absolutely KILLED it. It’s not easy being in charge of a whole weekend of cosplay competitions and panels and yet, she makes it look so effortless because she is amazing. We couldn’t be more proud of her!

And that’s that for our March updates! Was it a fairly quiet month or have we simply forgotten things or perhaps we’re keeping secrets? Who is to say? Anyway, apropos of nothing, we are excited about the next few months! And that’s not just because Tomodachi Life is coming out and Laura is planning to make FFG island to see what happens 😇 Not at all. Stay tuned… until next time!
Let’s get this place HUMID! 🌱
